Purely Metal hood frame pictures please

I'm considering getting the Purley Metal hood frame as they look a well made and robust piece of kit. Does anyone who has one of these hood frames fitted have a close up picture of where the horizontal tube fits to the rear double hoop? It looks as if the horizontal tube is just open where it fits to the hoop but I cant really tell from some of the pictures I have seen.

Also was there any issues with fitting the frame?
