2004 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Epsom Green
Defender Elbow Rest
Went about making myself an elbow rest for the Defender, make driving a little more comfortable! Cost me about £25 and 2 hours to make, pretty pleased with it! Underneath is 3mm neoprene foam, trimmed in black Alcantara, considered leather but it would get hot and sticky on hot days and ice cold in winter.

I did shamelessly use a hammer to beat it into shape against the door card Embarassed worked well though! Smile

Now that is £ 1,00 ( + your labour costs) more expensive than the one from Mudstuff... Wink
But may be more rewarding... Thumbs Up Cheers, Vincent

I saw the Mudstuff one, while a great idea and does look comfy it wasnt a permanent fitting which put me off! I'd never bother using it.

Cheers! Got a template now too, so I could make another much quicker if needed, didnt bother with a passenger side one as they don't need one Razz
