Heater fan repair/modification | |
1985 Land Rover 90.
Last winter my heater didn't work at all..so I just put a extra layer of clothing on in the winter and wipe the windscreen once it fogs up inside....
So I guess I should fix it...I remember reading about people changing the fan in the heater box to another fan which was more efficient and cheaper than a genuine replacement.
What have others done? The fan was full of mud & crud and sounded rough before it stopped So I need a better way of protecting it probably another snorkel.

Id buy a second hand unit, and drop a bigger heater matrix in, ( there is a video on youtube) also
you will best off investing in a set of these for the window screen
