I was in the same boat as you. We went camping this weekend just gone and the wife decided that space was a bit of a premium, not that I made space a bit tight Wink and we were camped less than 2 miles from BOAB, so popped in this AM and spent some money. Will be going back later this year for a Foxwing Very Happy 110 D250 SE HT

Hilarous!!

I literally just bought a tagalong today as well!!!

I bought one suitable for an RV3.

I looked at 4x4 overlander and Boab.

both were good on the phone, 4x4 overlander was £70 cheaper, but it was a version 1 tagalong, the guy I spoke to on the phone was open and honest about that. The main difference between the version 1 and the current version (version 2, amazing creativity here), is that the version 2 allows a Solar fly to be used on the tagalong.

I went with the Boab version, although I didn't buy the solar fly. my thinking was that I'm likely to be selling the outfit on in a few years so the ability to sell on with an new latest version tagalong was probably worth the £70 to me.

I do note that 4x4 overlander is a bit cheaper generally than Boab, both for individual parts and for shipping, I elected boab for the points above.

I believe both have good reputations for supply and service Smile

PS 4x4 overlander had 1x version 1 tagalong when I spoke to them at lunchtime today. Boab had loads, but did note that as we get closer to the holiday season they expect to sell them v. quickly.

With all that I reckon I'm complete for my Italian trip Smile

Cheers
Andy

Didn't buy the solar flysheet as funds were stretched a bit to buy the tagalong. But having had the fly on the main RV4 over the weekend there was a definite difference in temp from the bedroom and the living area during the day. In time I will buy the fly for the tagalong but now tempted with a foxwing before the fly.
I could of spent an absolute fortune at BOAB yesterday. But then reality kicked in 110 D250 SE HT
