Well, it is a non-type-approved modification to the engine breathing system, and therefore probably - yes.

However we have to retain a sense of proportion, and I really can't see that you'll get into trouble. I suppose that you should tell your insurance company, although I imagine that if you did they wouldn't have the faintest clue what you were talking about.
