hi/lo linkage spacer
Hi,

as the title suggests. on the transfer box there's a linkage for the hi/lo selector. in the LR hand book it refers to this linkage length being set with a spacer tool.

does any know if this actually gets used typically and what symptoms you'd expect if it wasn't set correctly / very well?

many thanks,

I did mine without it. It basically just makes sure the lever is in the High position when the box is in high. You can see on the bottom of the lever there is another lever it basically just cetralises that.

Thank you zsd. As you've suggested i'm inclined to think it's not necessary and i've determined my concern (hence question) lies with the diff lock and not hi/lo. Thanks all the same.
