Lloyds Ripon Land Rover
OK, I take it back. I wasn't impressed with Lloyds last year, not sure what was going on. Went in last week for anti-corrosion check. Service couldn't have been better - finished when they said they'd finish and replaced the split door seal at the same time (without authorisation from LR).
No charge for any of it.
Salesman we dealt with 2 years ago came for a chat too.
Pleased all round.

Seemed odd to sit in a new car dealership and have little interest in any of the vehicles on display though Crying or Very sad

I felt exactly the same in the dealership last week, no interest in the new vehicles, more interest in having a cup of coffee and watching the telly, the price tags are enough to put you off.

I had occasion to visit the very pleasant people at Guy Salmon Stratford Upon Avon (my local LR dealer) for a tidgy warranty job on my 2016 Defender...even though its only just over a year old I felt I was in a different era gazing over the new Range Rovers, Evoqes, Discos etc...I had a strange feeling that my hard earned brass will never go to LR again (Ive owned LR's since the 70's)...lovely as the new shiney things were, they just had no appeal to me; but then again, I can't think of anything from any other car manufacture that pulls my trigger either (apart from a Jeep Wrangler maybe). Since 1973...S1, Air Portable's, Defender's, but only my Wolf TUL HS GS remains
