2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Santorini Black

Fitting a barebox in USW

Morning.

I've bought a powder coated bare box for fitting in my 110 USW. I thought this should be a quick and easy job however when offering it up to see where I would need to trim carpet etc I appear to have a bigger problem.

There is a trim piece on the side (window surrounding a CSW) which stops the box sliding into the right position

Has anybody fitted one like this? Any thoughts on how to resolve it before I move to either modifying the trim or storing the boxing the garage?

You could try and source a trim from a TD5 SW, as that's got a different flatter profile to the bottom edge. The Puma version is shaped to suit the forward facing seats, even though yours doesn't have them. Darren

Would you have a photo or a part no to google to see how that one looks, I've found part no MWC5832LNP but no images of the profile and at £400+ new not sure I want to take a chance.

I did consider removing the trim but I like the way it makes the rear interior look a lot tidier. Keith
