Help to identify

I 'spotted' this pic on Instagram. I asked the poster if they knew anything about it but got no reply. I am wondering as to the identity of this SWB Landy and wondering if anyone can say what it is. First glance it looks like a 90 as it has the front end, bonnet, one piece doors with lift up handles and a one piece windscreen with curved corners. Look closer and it has dodgy wheelarch eyebrows, the axles look narrower than a 90 and it has the fuel filler position and possibly window wipers of a series motor.
I know people did in the past fit 90/110 type front ends onto series motors (the reason why escapes me) but surely the windscreen would have stayed as a square cornered split screen? If anyone can say what this is I'd appreciate it. I'm assuming it's an 88 under the skin, but an awful lot of work has gone into 'converting' it.

Barring any other details, I think it's exactly that. The rear body and track width definitely suggest a Series Land Rover. Fitting the later windscreen to the earlier bulkhead needs a bit of work but everything else - roof, bonnet, rad panel, doors - essentially just bolts on.

The only other 90's that I've seen with the Series filler position were the early prototypes like this:

There are other (110) prototypes from the same era that retained Series windscreens, but the main purpose of those vehicles was for testing of the coil sprung chassis. I don't know of any that just modelled the new bodywork on Series running gear. Darren

With that roll cage/bar in the back I wonder if someone just put together parts they had to build a trialler?
