Barring any other details, I think it's exactly that. The rear body and track width definitely suggest a Series Land Rover. Fitting the later windscreen to the earlier bulkhead needs a bit of work but everything else - roof, bonnet, rad panel, doors - essentially just bolts on.
The only other 90's that I've seen with the Series filler position were the early prototypes like this: Click image to enlarge There are other (110) prototypes from the same era that retained Series windscreens, but the main purpose of those vehicles was for testing of the coil sprung chassis. I don't know of any that just modelled the new bodywork on Series running gear. With that roll cage/bar in the back I wonder if someone just put together parts they had to build a trialler?
