Damn, that is a shame. Man-logic would dictate that Greeni upgrades his steed to accommodate the plate 
My incoming is out of the date range as well, otherwise you'd have had a PM.
Pete, if it doesn't go on here, would be worth considering eBay - given the price of the HUE plates on there, I think you'd exceed the price you've listed at on Def2.
A great plate for someone with an 15/16 Defender.
