Strange happening
Started the Puma (65 plate 110 xsutility) this morning, noticed the Trip meter was showing Zero, was about 140 yesterday, it had reset to zero, everything else working ok, On reaching my destination mileage had increases to 8.0.
Did a re-key with ignition on back to zero. Locked the puma, carried on with my visit to friends, back to puma, ignition on, trip meter back to zero, radio codes lost.
Turned off the ignition checked all of the Relays, both under the drivers seat and under steering column, everything ok, all seated properly.
Started up drove home, trip meter at 8.4, parked up, left it for 2 hours, just checked still showing 8.4.
Any ideas? NormanD WE191

That suggests to me that you may have a loose battery connection. Resetting the radio and losing the trip reading will both normally happen if the battery is disconnected.

Loosing the radio's pre sets indicates a loss of power from the battery. Defender 90XS SW

Battery terminal all tight, no movement on cables, therefore I need to start checking earth straps etc. NormanD WE191
