Advice on upgrade
I'm now in a dilemma, I currently have a Howling Moon 1.4 tourer tent with annex and then down the side I have the Howling Moon 2.1m awning with side walls.
I now have an OZtent RV4 with deluxe panels and deluxe front panel so have a decent size tent.
But now looking at upgrading, I'm toying with the idea of the either the tag along tent for the Oztent or going all in and buying a foxwing. Initially when they hit the market I didn't like them as the side panels didn't meet and left a gap. Now they have zipped panels they are more appealing.
To fund the upgrade I'd be selling the side awning and adding cash but keeping the rooftent. So what would be the best way to go? It's only the Mrs and me and 2 dogs.

Edit to correct size of awning 110 D250 SE HT

What are you trying to achieve? We've got an RV4 and tag along, which is great, but we've got two kids. That set up plus an enclosed awning and a roof tent sounds like overkill for two people Confused Or have I misunderstood? Darren

Sort of. We have 2 set ups currently. The RTT and side awning, and then the RV4. We want to keep the RTT as a trip to sunnier climes is possibly in the works and a RTT is way better than a ground tent.
So I'd be looking at selling the awning as it's nearly new and only been used a dozen times or so and purchasing either the tag along or the foxwing.
As much as the wife annoys me when setting up camp I don't think she'd appreciate having separate tents when we are away Rolling with laughter 110 D250 SE HT

I've got a Foxwing with all the tapered sides sand it's good enough an spacious enough to sleep under. Though not really good in bad rain!

I'm assuming because the rain/water comes up under the outside edge? Or for other reason? The foxwing would be used in conjunction with the Oztent just to create a bit more day space rather than trying to enjoy the day inside the tent. 110 D250 SE HT

Ah ok, I see what you mean now. As good as the tag along is, it's not really comparable with an enclosed awning for providing additional day space. It's a lot lower, for a start. Go for the Foxwing for that purpose. Darren
