For me the problem seems to have been the (lack of a / worn away) nylon "sleeve" on the bit that screws in to the body - wrapping insulating tape around it has proved to be a very good temporary fix. |

If you're having to lift the door, check for wear in the hinges, as well as the plastic sleeve issue in the linked thread above. They're notorious for hinge-pin wear and may need replacing.

I've read loads of thread on google, not sure what I need to adjust The locks all seem clean and striker looks newish (its a TDCi so quite new) I feel I need to be able to move the door up a little (tiny bit), but then It looks like it could be the rubbers round the door. I've also fitted stainless sills a while back and I don't think its been the same since so maybe I should take these off and see if that fix's it? Pain either way. Does anyone know what I need to adjust to make the doors stay open as both front ones don't now on the 'click' |
