No problem! Will also be driving back through spain / france and fancy checking out some lanes. Haven't done any research yet though.

North Yorkshire. This was a rearrangement of a trip we had planned for before christmas which had to be cancelled due to the snow, there were three vehicles. well, started off as four, but the series 3 got stuck in the first river , engine failed, then a battery problem and had to drop out |

oh right, not good then! been meaning to ask, when we went laning in the lakes, what was the satnav thing you were using? quite fancy getting one as reading/driving with an os map isnt the best!

Satmap Active 10 Plus with charger and car mount. You get the whole of GB on 1:50,000 with it included now

No didn't - but then I bought it about 2 years ago more for walking and canoeing than for driving, but its a pretty good green lane tool (incredibly accurate)

They are great little boxes. I was looking about 3 years ago, and MOD get a 20% discount so made me super interested.. but then got deployed and got into Memory map when I got back.
