Just curious if anyone else has fitted the LR cargo barrier to their Puma (p/n LR006447). Two of us down this side of the globe have just done so and we both had to elongate the two holes in the lower mounting brackets that bolt to each C pillar base. The reason being the barrier is about 1315mm between holes and the brackets, when mounted, made for about 1300mm. No amount of leaving everything loose until its all in place would make up for this discrepancy. So the only option was to get the round out and file the holes into longer slots.
Whilst I've now got the barrier all installed and I am happy with it. It would seem that LR is selling a defective kit. It probably also explains why its not an available part down under. Either that or our Defenders are 15mm narrower than yours 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi LROCV ::: AULRO.com |

I had to unbolt the sliver aluminium supporting plates that sit behind the seat and hold the door pillars to the chassis. Once I loosened those on both sides it gave me more room to fit those brackets. Not sure this is the same problem as yours but it helped me!
