Trust me, as you get older, you'll all be looking for jeans with a looser gusset 🙄 M&S are comfy and wear well so who gives a wotzit about the label

I don't know the first thing about fashion, but I do wear a lot of Engelbert Strauss workwear. They recently started doing jeans, and I now wear quite a lot of Engelbert Strauss jeans!

I'm not ashamed to say I get my jeans from Tesco's! I got another pair last week for £12, fit great. I'd rather buy a nice shirt and cheap jeans! Also got a great pair of stretch Chino's from Tesco's which I'm wearing right now! James

I haven't worn a pair of jeans since I was in my late teens, early 20's.
That said I'll admit to buying a pair a couple of weeks ago in the local Jaeger shop closing down sale. How very odd, and middle class is that Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

I never thought I'd be discussing menswear on here but......
If you're OK with Levis 501's but don't think they're suitable for the trendy world you inhabit, try 501CT's. Same 501 fit around the dangly bits but gently taper from the knee down, allowing you to show off a bit more of your hipster style Converse All Stars or your classic suede loafer/fuschia sock combo. Roll them up a couple of turns and go down the no sock/Clarks desert boot route for some genuine Italian "sprezzatura" They're on the Levi website, starting at around £85 |

Well it looks like we will have to have a new section. What the well dressed Land Rover Defender owner/driver is wearing this season.
Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

It doesn't matter what label is on the back of your jeans or how much you paid for them they were all made in the same Bangladeshi factory. Defender 90XS SW

⬆️ Just checked, my 501CT's were made in Turkey.
Probably by Bangladeshis who were sacked from the jeans factory back home for accidentally tapering the lower legs of Levi 501's. |

Quite the opposite for me, M&S fit the legs but not the gut. I'm forever pulling then up and even struggle to run with (/after) the dog without them falling down, seriously, it's something you'd watch in Last of the Summer Wine. It really annoys me that they can't do a fit for an active person.
That's what I was thinking, maybe in green. (FFS, I must be getting old )
1920's? Sheesh, how old are you? |

For years i wore jogging trews for ease of movement when working. However in the last few months i have reverted back to jeans having discovered that asda do then with a lycra? mix allowing them to give as you move. Also at 12 quid they are disposable when the grime gets too much for a 60deg long wash. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.
