Yes it is. I plan to do exactly the same swap although my drivers door is more of a priority at the moment. That'll also be swapped for a later version although it's proving a sod to find a decent second hand one. I may eventually have to buy new

Thanks LRA. I do have a spare wheel carrier which should take some of the load off but couldn't help but think that a one piece door would be stronger especially given where mine is going. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.

Hi,
I got a new safari door from SP4x4, fitted it no problems, after having it painted. really pleased with it. Couldn't have done it without seeing/reading others reviews, fitting advise etc provided by this forum.Hopefully doing the front doors next with the series door conversion kit. ![]() Click image to enlarge |
