Tinted my side windows in situ today with one roll for £15 have not done tinting for twenty odd years but good to have another go.
No tinters in my area would entertain it saying that they are the only vehicle they don't do!!!!. The centre strip was a pain as you can't get all the bubbles out so trimmed back and lined with gloss black vinyl same round window catches too as they were a challenge to cut out. Just waiting for the water residue to dry off and then chase up the edges too job done. Definitely have a go mate just remember;
- Clean your windows throughly use Stanley blade to scrape windows down removing any stuck on dirt - Change you Stanley blade after every section - always use x 3 times more soapy water than you need - don't over work the tint once it's on and pretty much bubble free leave it alone come back text day to get last bubbles out. Just my two pennith anyway Good luck It's more important to concentrate on what's ahead of you than what you have left behind. Just remembered I purchased the black vinyl from B&Q when I used it to make my tool board for the shadows. Yes I have OCD!😇 Click image to enlarge It's more important to concentrate on what's ahead of you than what you have left behind.
