I'm afraid I think either the heater element or the install is faulty.
Take it back and ask the fitter whether it worked when he tested it... |

The fitter was a mobile auto electrician who has been in the trade for more than 40 years and who has done lots of work for me. He thoroughly tested his wiring and we also checked with the loom manufacturer and it's fine.
It must be the heating pads at fault so I think I'll need to buy a set. The problem is fitting them! I'm useless at d-i-y and reupholstery is for me as bad as it gets! It's not too difficult, I've done it.
Take the whole seat out and take it indoors to do, you'll then find it much easier. You don't need to take the whole seat covers off, only gain access $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Watch the video, it's a piece of p155 to fit the heater pads.. Mine went pop before xmas, and even with changing a split seat back foam core, it only took about 45 mins per seat.. ... ,-------, ..
