United Kingdom 2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 SW Keswick Green
Kids love Series Land Rovers, my son was introduced to riding in a Series One from being a baby, with a very strong safety seat with belts attached to the chassis. He’s now 37 and still loves Land Rovers now owning my 86in which I passed custody to him a few years ago. He also has a more “sensible” Freelander for daily family outings. Start them young and you might be lucky that your son or daughter will still like to go out with the Old Man to car rally’s and Land Rover events.

Great stuff Smile

It was a leap of faith when I bought it, my heart sank when looking at it and the screwdriver when right through the floor !! posted loads of pictures on here and people suggested (as they would on here) I went for it Very Happy

I want to take the roof off mine but being a station wagon with safari roof its quite rare... so I need another I can remove the top. Thumbs Up

As much as I love my Puma the Series is great fun. People wave, point, smile etc.

Ok so now I'm working at home and was isolated for 2 weeks as little lad had temperature. I've done some jobs that were not on the list...

New rear window surround, had this ages but just put off by the self tappers not undoing... And they didn't so drill and metal saw later....

Rubbed down, rust proof and repainted. Looks neater. 👍

Then I had a revamp of my steering wheel as I watched someone else do this on You tube. Turned out well.... Sanded, etched and painted. Even polished the centre and left it chrome as thought it looked good 👍

Then this afternoon started sorting the roof, as this hasn't been painted yet...

Sanded
Panel wipe clean
Undercoat

Still plenty to do but getting there.

Rosco, I doubt it will win any shows Smile

Its hand painted and the pictures on the web do make it look better than it is, however its tidy, usable and we love it Smile

This lockdown has enabled me to do some jobs I didn't even know were on the list Thumbs Up

Thanks for comments though Thumbs Up

Yesterday afternoon the first coat on the roof, after sanding and etching.
