Looking good Mark. You know this is going to cost me money looking at your car.
I presume the bumper comes in Black, silver won't look right on my car. Wheels look great, Not sure about the lettering though |

Yep...my bumper and steering guard are in black. I'll try and get them fitted tomorrow or Sunday. 110 DCPU

Decided to go for the Nakatanenga wheel carrier......now, black or natural stainless?
I'll probably go for black as really don't like a silver plate on the rear cross member. 110 DCPU Mark |

I would get your rear cross member painted before you install the wheel carrier.
Easy job you could do in a couple of hours. |

My cross member is ok. It had gone a little milky but a wipe-over with WD40 brought it back to looking like new 110 DCPU

Give it a couple of weeks and it will be milky again.
I had been doing the same to mine for the last two years. Satin Black UPOL paint and its like new. |

Started fitting the Bowler steering guard...almost finished when it became apparent that one of M8 repair washers was actually an M6....so annoying! I've got some stainless M8's somewhere so will hopefully dig them out after the F1 qualifying and finish it off.
Actually, that's another surprise, all the fixings are zinc plated - I'd assumed they would have been stainless on what is quite a pricey product. 110 DCPU Mark |

Thanks....really happy with Indus Silver. I was always going to keep the dual finish wheels on because I think they look fantastic, but the draw of Bowler was strong
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Now do I go black pack with the grill and headlight surrounds? I probably would but then I'd have to change the Defender badge to black and it would inevitably be just a tiny bit out and I'd not sleep properly  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated 110 DCPU Mark Last edited by m33ufo on 13th May 2017 7:18pm. Looks great and to answer your question, yes to black grills and badging
More work but well worth it given all the other black bits you've added. |

Maybe Nakatanenga heritage headlight surrounds in black but keep the standard Defender grill (but in Santorini)? Not 100% sure about the Nakatanenga heritage grill. 110 DCPU
