Will do. I last ran it 19 years ago and in my head I fully intend to beat that time. Sadly it is my legs doing the work and they have a different opinion. I'll be ok with sub 4h, happy with sub 3.42 and very happy with sub 3.30. I can then sit back for another 19 years......

Very good luck mate. I admire anyone that takes that on. I struggle to run 10 metres before falling A over T so what you are doing is amazing.

Driving would be ideal but I'm too tight to pay the congestion charge 😁

Good luck Huttopia. Looks like you are going to have decent weather for it too.
Then, in two weeks time we have this to look forward to here ourselves. The Mrs ran this full and half for many years (also the full NYC until recently), but now it is our next generation that are running the half here. Still too young for a full. Hope we also get good weather here in two weeks, usually it is. Click image to enlarge Eric You never actually own a Defender. I was meant to be doing it, but have had to defer my place until next year due to injury.
Ran it in 2011 and it was great. Good luck Huttopia. That's a cracking pace if you do that. |

Barbel Jim - I can remember being offered drinks last time around, not from the drink stations but the beer drinkers outside the pubs! And the smell of street food is magic.
Bad luck SWR, at least you can defer to next year - and now you have a whole year to rehab and train! My kit bag is all packed, I'm going to London on my tod as my daughter and son have athletics / rugby tournament respectively. It is damn near impossible to spot someone, but of course there is now a tracker app on the Virgin Marathon site! Number 54108 |

Huttopia, did it go well? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
