If you are having a problem with the grid supply can they not supply a standby generator.? Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Thanks - there is no grid supply - so its bridging the gap of at least 2 months.

In reference to quality equipment, i hear you clarke, honda, hyundai are really the only ones ive considered except the made in the UK company - but i agree sometimes you can get cheap ones that just work perfectly for years, but when they break thats it.

Often with a branded one they come with some sort of support and spares list (but not always!!) Mike
