Ian does seem elusive from what I read but he has been very helpful numerous times to me just via FB. Nothing that has earned him anything, just freely providing his wisdom. Great service which I hope to repay someday with getting him to do some work. James

Oh I agree... I've got an IRB tune and turbo on my Td5, it goes like stink. He has been very helpful in the past, but when trying to ghet hold of him afterwards, and plenty of others on here also, it lead to a hair pulling out exercise.

Seconded. In my time of ECU need he was there and got Miffy running again. Top bloke and top products. His Stage 1 remap for a TD5 is simply beautiful, power and torque in all the right places, but not crazy or smokey at all. If you do ever have trouble getting hold of him it is because he also works a normal day job for JLR, or at least he did, fairly sure he still does. Anyway, turbo upgrade for me next |

Another +1 for Ian. I've been friends with him for quite a while and still find him difficult to get hold of sometimes. He is in very high demand 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Well, I'll be different.
I'm a long way away, & I don't know the guy, who obviously knows what He's doing. However, not responding to efforts to contact, phone calls etc, is simply rude, and not good enough, IMHO. If ya've got a real problem, then no contact can be most annoying. I would not deal with such a person. There's plenty of others around who do provide polite, prompt communication, which is really only good, respectful, customer service. Pickles. |
