I thought it looked even stranger when the B pillars were out...

I have a full puma interior in my 2002 Td5 90. The front seats just bolt and plug in. The rear seats involved a tub change to do properly

Thank you
I did do the carpet. It's a LRI kit which is more comprehensive than the LR one. I just took my time trimming it and making sure it was smoothed properly. Are the cloth Puma front seats better than TD5 ones?
They are readily available online but having sat in a Puma Defender l can’t make my mind up as to whether they will be any better. |

+1 for the Puma heated seats. Has made a huge difference. There were so many available at one time because of people installing Recaro seats. I did the middle row two. That was a huge and $ job but worth it in the long run.... 1999 Defender 110

Whilst on the seat thread...
If one didn't have a pair of nice Puma seats to refit into an earlier defender, what "car" seats would fit? (without ending up with your hear hitting the roof as they're too high, as per disco1 seats which I had in an old 90) I also have a P&P internal hoop on my cage, so seat-back width is also a factor... I know that disco1 (again) wouldn't easily fit in place of standard Td5 seats due to rubbing on the hoop. |

i fitted honda civic seats, really comfy all leather and heated unfortunately i am having to take them back out as SWMBO has a dodgy knee and finds it awkward getting in as they are a little higher but more so the bigger bolsters, i have an exmoor trim half leather kit to fit to my old ones which should be an improvement nobody is perfect but being Scottish is a start

I heard that Smart seats are ok. I don't have any experience with them. Somebody here? Roel

Has anyone got some photos of the older style ones next to Puma seats to compare the differences? I've got Puma seats in my truckcab and I don't get on with them at all - I recon my old 90 had far more comfortable seats but I'm not sure if that's more the seating position because of the truckcab.
The puma ones seem thicker so I'm thinking of swapping them for the older style ones to get a bit more room back, but I don't know whether it's going to be worth the effort? Rich |

I fitted Puma seats into our 2005 TD5 XS because the originals had seen better days.
The Puma seats are more supportive, and they don’t sag down like the TD5 ones did (although they’d done 100,000 miles) The back rests are higher but they match the XS interior on the 90 I also fitted cloth Puma seats in my 110 TD5 The 110 is a County so the Puma seats don’t match, as they are mainly black unlike the Techno cloth rear seats. However it looks OK and l am happy with the seats. I do a lot of miles in the 110 and the Puma seats are better, they are generally more comfortable |
