For me, I didn't like the coffee being cool once I made it (hot) and then adding milk. The creamer milks for me are too sweet and not that nice. 1999 Defender TD5 110

I've got a Tassimo I use it daily, its brilliant for a quick cup of coffee. Better than instant but not as good as espresso grind. The Kenco Columbian pods are rather nice. The Nespresso machine on the other hand, christ that makes revolting coffee. I bought a £50 drone, flew it around for 2 days. Got bored, maybe ill dig it out again now the weather is picking up |

I got drunk at home alone one Friday night years ago, and bought a gemstone globe off a Sky shopping channel, which is still a source of regret now. I couldn't even use it for educational purposes as Iraq and Afghanistan were in the wrong places and London was in South Wales

A soup maker. If you want to make soup complicated. Buy one
Tassimo's are great for guest rooms and offer much more choice of beverages than the others. A tip: If you just want hot water, use the cleaning disc. Also if you run the cleaning disc through first, your drinks will be hotter. For those that dont know. Tassimo's make not only a wide variety of coffees, but also cappuccino, teas, herbal teas, and hot chocolate as well as plain hot water. |

Love our tassimo. Buy the discs in bulk from Costco. Never get a drink from a high street coffee shop again.
Saves us a packet, if you have guests round they can choose whatever they want also Ok its NOT as good as fresh ground beans but handy and better than a normal instant. Amazon Echo dot, we have these round the house and also the hue bridge and I'm starting on the lights. Love it, asking it random stuff, kids love it, even the grandparents were so impressed they bought one. We have amazon prime and so far plays everything we want and handy you can ask it stuff and do games and quizzes.. One thing I have bought when we first got log burners was a moisture gauge to check the moisture content of wood before I burn it..... I chuck anything on it.... never used it, Once the temperature says 300 degrees + it burns |

Fancy selling the moisture gauge posted to Scotland? Just got some logs drying out for next winter and need to check moisture. Hopefully not a purchase to regret! Stephen |

Nintendo Wii.
I'll buy a Wii, I thought. Get one of those balance boards and Wii Fit, I thought. That will be great and me and the current Mrs Rashers can get fit, I thought. Wii and board stuck in a box beside the TV for the next 4 years. In fact, I don't even know where it is now. I'm still overweight. Obviously the current Mrs Rashers never really needed the Wii's help Talking of coffee machines, we have a Dolce Gusto. We both like it but the pods, especially the twin pod drinks (chocolate, latte, Thai latte etc.) can become ruinously expensive if you enjoy its regular use. Mrs Rashers who really should have used the Wii! here. What he hasn't told you about is the big green egg called Nigella ( curvie, hot and cooks like a dream..... apparently. ( I think I might have something to do with that!) it's the best thing we have ever "wasted" money on. So much so that if it wasn't for the worry about it getting nicked we would have bought a baby one for camping. Last edited by Rashers on 30th Mar 2017 6:58pm. Edited 1 time in total |

We have a Wii as well, used many times, and then drifted away from it. 1999 Defender TD5 110
