Same style of tracking used in our Ambulances, it takes a good beating and lasts for years. I've only ever seen it wear out on one vehicle - the mechanic just turned it round and put the worn end at the front of the saloon and put the unused end at the back of the vehicle where all the chairs etc get clamped to. If you need that sort of thing it will serve you well. Just make sure there are no wee stones etc in the track or your clamps etc won't go in.

The bolts were M8 x 75mm with counter sunk heads to fit the rail.
They are too long for just bolting through the floor but are just right when you have to go through a a strengthener. I bought the bolts with the rail as a kit. The rails and bolts were about £60 and the fixing rings an extra £20. Defender Td5 Commercial 2002 Range Rover L322 TDV8 Westminster 2012 Discovery 4 SDV6 Landmark 2016 |
