Had a go at one wheel refurb
My Series is still at a local garage having some stuff done.

No worries its given me time to sort one of the garages its living in, I've painted the floor Shocked and also put up a tool rack to make fixing stuff easier.

Anyway among some jobs today I thought I would have a go at repainted my 750 / 16 steel wheels...to Limestone

They were white and quite good, but had been re done at some point and a little rust showing, so Sanded down with various grades of paper and then cleaned off.

Paint was from Padocks... Seems to go on very easy and gives a nice finish. So ok you may not put them on a new car but they are going on a 40 plus year old Landy... I'm happy with results Thumbs Up Around £15 for the tin and I've hardly used any on one wheel.

4 more to go though.... well 3 as I NEED another... anyone?

What do you think, around 1 hour start to finish so hopefully the longer nights I can start the others...

Nice job - patience and perseverance and you end up with nicely finished rims.

I did mine on my previous series three and used a tin of Halfords spray lacquer to protect the fresh paint - gives a nice gloss and makes them easier to clean as well 👍.

Will.

Looking great mate! Done a couple of sets the same way myself in the past and been pleased with the results. Will look great on the truck. Pete
