On a 90 you can fit them top and bottom.
There is a tangible difference but not a huge amount.

I would recommend them, I have them too and bottom on mine.

Also a cheap suspension lift. Around 12mm per isolator I believe. Nearly an inch lift if you fit two per spring Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
