Mule wheels while I refurbish the ones from the lightweight obtained. I didn't get the rusty ones with the rotten tyres that the seller wanted £25 each for!
Set of four decent tubeless rims with OK tyres instead.
Lots to see and lots of it Land Rover. Smaller number of general car boot sale country craft sellers. 1995 Defender 110 CSW

Well,
Without being a kill joy,- I felt it was missing somthing today ?
For sure there seemed lots of cars selling and apparently the carp ark was busy also,
But lots of people walking around empty handed,
The "rivet counters" didn't seem to be in attendance ( as many as normal)
This seemed to be made up by people I couldn't work out,

For example, Chappy picked up a pair of hate rings I was selling, I politely said," you can have the pair for a fiver "
To which he replied, " oh I don't need any "

That all said, I had some friendly banter with the mum on the next stall, and found a few forum members, and made a few quid, sun shined although the wind was a little biting,

I brought some impact sockets, as didn't want to not buy anything Rolling with laughter

May buy a new rear door of "the paint man" later this year though, they looked good, and a good bloke to chat to

What's others opinions then ?

Certainly not the usual crowds, but we did manage to shift most of the parts in the first hour, then it just steadied down to a gentle pace,
I just wish I could keep up with the Demand on series 1 parts,
As soon as the van doors were open they are in it! Shocked

Always a good laugh though, and to catch up with people.

A friend had a nice early Land Rover badge swiped off his table under his nose
Sadly it was the only one not to be screwed down Sad

We think Mother's Day might have had an impact on numbers?

Still a good day though, been lucky with the weather for a few years now. Thumbs Up 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered.

Well finally got my feet up - having dragged a lot of tut home, yet sold a number of items.
Ditto all comments above - Mothers Day clash I think caused a greater lack of punters. However the weather was good despite the chilling wind.
Had a guy come over and look at a single 205/16 tyre on steel rim. Having told him the price he said he only needed the wheel ! Why is it the one time I don't chuck on a steel rim thats sat in my shed as every other time no-one shows any interest in them, someone turns up and wants one ! Evil or Very Mad

Anyway great day and pocket full of cash Very Happy Thumbs Up

Got there about 0945, queued to get in & bagged a quick truck cab rear panel with window & a good pair of 90 van sides. Went on to pick up some other bits & bobs but came away with a notable lack of items crossed off my shopping list. Seemed to be quieter than usual but also not the selection of bits there has been in the past.
