Hello Guys!
I am George from Germany and hopefully a Defender Owner in a couple of weeks... I got in love with that car months ago. I plan to go to UK end of march to buy a Defender and to Import it then to Germany.
Assuming I will find a nice car in UK. How do I get it to Germany? Of Course picking it up with my other "tractor" and a Trailer could be possible but really time consuming and expensive.
And now I hope to get some help from you guys that already have a Defender and know the UK car market / insurance market better then I do...
1) Do you know if there is something like a insurance Company which insures cars only for 1 month and allows them to be exported?
2) Can I Register a car without a permanent adress in UK?
3) Any other Options?
4) is there something like an Export Licence Plate like we have it in Germany?

By the way - if anybody knows somebody who wants to sell a Defender 110 with 2 doors in good condition with max 150.000miles and max. 10.000GBP then let me know
