I have a TEF 20 sat in my grandfather's garage 60 miles away. My dad bought it about 25 years ago to cut grass on their orchard, although i dont think he ever drove it, it was always me behind the wheel! They moved house and I just sort of 'assumed' the fergie was now mine.
Does anyone know how to register one for the road? I know it's original reg number, but we have never had the registration document for it. |

To register a tractor for the road is quite easy, you have to have it verified by someone who can interpret the tractor numbers, so that it can be recognised by the D V L A. In your case it will be easier as you have the original number, it may still be on record.
When I did mine I used one of the clubs as they usually have a dedicated member to help with registrations. Try www.fergusonclub.com if they can't help they may put you in touch with the relevant people. Nick |

We have a few old tractors here..
A 1959 Massey Furguson 35 which gets used most weeks either topping, rolling , harrowing or driving the log splitter or saw bench. A great little tractor that still earns its keep at over 50 years old A Fordson Major which was my Grandparents, doesn't get used much but starts instantly even if it's left for months. And lastly my Dad has a David Brown VAK1A that he bought in the early 1970's that hasn't seen the light of day since the early 90's, although he keeps threatening to restore it. We had the familiar rumble this morning but by the time I'd got to the front of the house with a camera I only got pics of the last 8 or 9. I don't know anything about tractors but here are a few. Hi Guys,
Storm Doris nearly took the front end of 2 of my tractors. Luckily the roller door fell a few inches in front. BarryT Click image to enlarge |

We've a 135 Massey that we bought to replace our 35 as wanted a bit more oomph.
Also have an 1984 4wd Massey and a 1989 Sanderson telehandler. |
