Which party did you adjust? The smoke screw on top, pin or star wheel? Cheers

I have just adjusted the torque bit on the top with a combo of the mixture screw on the side .
On the top torque bit I turn it counter clock wise by half a turn . The smoke has reduced. Does this seam about right or would you go further ? |

the mixture screw? you mean the full fuel flow screw on the back of the pump? with the anti tamper.
torx - smoke screw - too much here would give black smoke from immediate pull away, so if smoke worse just as you start to accelerate then back off another half turn. diaphgram inside is the real one you need to adjust so it gives less fuel for boost ratio. its under the 4 screws holding the top on. there are probably marks on it where the needle used to rub on the profile. turn it back to this shallower profile. i take it air filter is clean? Thanks for the help; this is great info, Ill give this a go
I managed to get it through the MOT with a bit of fiddling. Ill change the filter as a precaution but it doesn't look bad. Cheers Simon |
