I've been visiting that area for the last 20 years and the sum total of winter laning opportunities I've encountered are roughly nil, except when renting a tiny place in the back end of nowhere a few years back.
A quick look on Viewranger for 4x4 routes in the area also suggest the sum total of nil "Chemin Rurale" routes. A lot of the area is Reserve Nationale, with 4x4s banned except for local property access. There are also tracks that are closed to vehicles by local bylaws in the winter. A lot are access routes for snowbashers or for pisteurs; you'll be rather unpopular if you attempt to drive up them at this time of year! An example of such a route is here: https://www.routeyou.com/en-fr/route/view/...e/chamonix If you tried that between October and April, you would find yourself clubbed to death by the local Piste crews (and a few hundred angry skiers) as a large part of that route is on black pistes and strictly "non!" in the winter under any circumstances. If twisty, snow covered B and C roads are your thing, a trip from Chamonix via Argentiere to Martigny (Switzerland) and back again after fresh snow is spectacular and recommended
If time allows, carrying on to Orsieres on the back roads via Col de Champex and then on up to Fouly will give you some more twisty rural mountain roads, but again you'll want to have had fresh snow to make the journey worthwhile. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Chamonix...933198!3e0
