Dim Dip Resistor
Having a few problems with the headlights on my 2004 TD5. I acquired a pink lucas relay ywc 10050 off a scrap mini, whilst a new one was ordered. It worked fine till tonight !! No headlights only side . So fitted the new relay the side lights work but the headlights just emit a dull glow. The main beam works on flash. Tried googling the problem and it could be the dim dip resistor but the question is where is it located and does anyone know the part number ? I'm not very good with electrics and could not use a multimeter to save my life. Any suggestions ?

Are you sure it isn't your headlamp switch that has failed ?
