2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Java Black

Nene Lazer Tubular Bumper

Anyone got this or seen it? Wondering what the quality is like? It's exactly the look I want but having visited Nene a few years back I'm after a little reassurance

I can't directly comment on the bumper but having seen some of Nene's work up close I would say you need to have a look in the flesh before committing.

I saw a couple of their defenders and LRO 2016 show and I thought some of the work was questionable. Especially the paintwork which seemed to be to paint literally everything including the rubbers

(I'm not talking about poor masking or overspray I think it was intentional but it certainly wouldn't have lasted long

Yes - that's my worry. I was sort of hoping this might be produced by a third party so perhaps better...?

Nene are a long old way from Dorset!

2012 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Santorini Black

I will be following this thread closely, have been toying with buying one for the past year to replace my standard bumper but without seeing one in the flesh and the price tag I just cannot bring myself to complete the order! I was looking at the triple-R bumper but from there pictures its also hard to work out how high/low it sits compared to the wings/bottom of the grill or compared to standard defender bumper.

Hopefully someone is going to come along who has one and give us the re assurance we need

That is shockingly cheap for Nene, though it doesnt look quite right....

Agreed on the grill - it's not my thing at all.

But I do like the bumper - think the integration of decent driving lights and numberplate works well plus I like the fact it isn't straight.

Come on - someone must have bought one?!
