Collected the car from the paint shop this evening. It looks great
I'll give it a clean and take some pics ASAP. Unfortunately my rear mudflap bracket can't be refitted because the nuts in the cross memeber have spun out, so i need to get a rivnut kit and repair it But here's a sneak peak of the front bumper Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

I'm very happy with how the paint work has come out. I've had the following painted;
Roof Wheel arches Front bumper Rear cross memeber & tow bar I've also fitted LED headlights which I'm delighted with. I've bought a rivnut tool to try and sort my rear mudflaps too! Thank you I changed all the rear lights, they are SVX LED from MUD Stuff. I couldn't decide about the clear rears. The 2nd hire car I had came with all clear LED which I thought I wanted, but after much deliberation I decided on keeping the top ones red and clear for all the others, and I actually am very pleased, I like the look. Here is the one with all clear: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

Many thanks for the pics, yes i agree with your final choice as the red ones stand out better and not blend in like the clear ones did 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Today we spent a bit of time on the interior. Due to cost (I've run out of money ) we are just doing the front of the van for now, and treat the rear as a separate project.
First of all we removed the seats and gave everything a clean Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge We then started fitting dynamat kits from Island 4x4 - a seat box kit and a footwell kit. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Once all that was fitted, we began to fit the Exmoor Premium carpet kit, but unfortunately due to rain stopping play in the morning, we ran out of time before we could finish Click image to enlarge We are getting there though, more than half way that's for sure! I picked up my powder coating parts, side steps, front steering guard and rear boot door seal trim.
Fitted the rear trim together with a new seal as that was easy! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I need to reassemble the side steps and I'm waiting for the fixings to arrive to do that, and also new bolts to mount the front steering guard Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

I've spent the evening making a start on my seat upgrade kits from Exmoor trim.
I went for the Puma premium upgrade in XS black rack half leather This evening I decided to do the two seat bases, I'm also adding a heated seat kit at the same time. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Very happy with the outcome, need to do the seat backs next. A job for the weekend I think. Have never seen the boot trim in black, looks really good, if it holds up to a little abuse I might do the same. Did you rivet it back down?

Because it's powder coated I hope it will hold up well. I actually reused the original screws but was thinking about getting some black rivets. Once the rear is carpeted I think it will look better. My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html

I must say that the Britpart Lynx LeD headlights are utterly amazing.
The light output is immense and make driving at night a pleasure! I agonised over spending the extra and buying Nolans or Trucklites and very nearly did, but I'm so glad with what I bought in the end. Ok so the Others probably have a higher output but these are such a massive upgrade, gaining that little bit more for most of us at least really is irrelevant.
