Do you mean what size? 235x85R16 or 265x75R16
Or are you looking for tyre recommendation? That would depend on what you want to do with them? Just got myself a defender fitted with Insa Turbo special track, but just to aggressive, probably go for BFG, not sure either 235 or 265, just what's best.
Will have to get some alloys as well. |

255/85/16 is a good size not available from all makers/tread patterns.

I imagine you mean lock stops rather than bump stops! It should be possible to run 265s on Boosts or similar without spacers but it will impact the turning circle (for a while I ran 285s on Boosts without spacers, again possible but far from ideal). Personally I have now settled on 255/85 as the optimal size for my use - they look right, and combine the advantage of being fairly narrow but quite tall. I run them on 0 offset wheels. You will never get across-the-board concensus on tyre size! |

- yep, lock stops was what I meant...
I only run the 265s as I got them as a brand new set fitted to the alloys for an absolute steal off a guy who had sold his 'truck' & just needed to get rid of them. Personally for what I use my 90 for I'd stick with 235s or 7.50s but then mine doesn't get washed, polished, hoovered, etc. & neither is it an 'off-road' toy - it spends most of its time getting me around muddy fields & woods with 3 dogs in the back & a trailer in tow |

Another vote for 255/85-16. BFG Km2.
Been running them for 2 years from new, 40k miles on them and not even half worn. Very well behaved on the road for a mud tyre. Can sit at 85mph all day no issues. 10 inches wide when inflated but by the time you let them down to 15psi they are probably 12" wide and the side lugs contact the ground which makes them a formidable off road tyre. Huge tyres are fine for d*ck measuring or if you have a huge v8 powered mud plugger which spends its life up to the axles in , but to live with and drive on the road, they are horrible. This size is about 33inch which on a puma actually corrects the speedo and makes the once useless 1st gear less useless. 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon. |

Yes, but i standard alloys wheels not really wide enough but will fit and you'll need 30mm wheel spacers |
