TD5 110 Performance Rearbox/Tailpipe?
Afternoon,

Does anyone know of a 'performance' or more freeflowing rearbox/tailpipe for the 110 TD5? My one is pretty shagged and could do replacing. Checking online and only found silly money ones.

Cheers

I don't think the rear box is particularly restrictive, it's more the cat (where fitted) and centre box

I used to have a Rimmer Brothers stainless V8 110 rear section on my Td5 (I had to faff about with the middle silencer to make it fit, might even have had the V8 silencer in fact)

Think it was the same diameter as the Td5 pipe, might have been 1/2" bigger. anyhow, it had a fairly raspy noise to it, and made absolutely no difference in performance.

I binned it in the end (Well, swapped it for a complete standard Td5 system), same performance, less noise.

(It did sound nice when I had it on my old 3.9 EFI 110 though!)
