dgardel, see my post "oil filter housing" I bought the land rover off my brother 26th Dec it broke down the 29th Dec, and today (25.01.11) I finally got it back from the Polish dealer with a new engine fitted under warranty. I'm trying to find out when the new engine was manufatured to see if I may have anymore problems as I'm driving over to the UK the 12th February and would like a good run with some peace of mind. Glad to hear you got a new engine. You'll have to check with land rover for your engine number. How is the land rover running now? '08 LR Defender 110
