Hi all
I recently brought a 2nd defender with a view to turning into an off roader but I cannot bring myself to start cutting it about being such a nice example It is a 1997 R 300 TDi hardtop County 112k on the clock I have on the way a new cambelt kit and water pump along with an egr delete kit which will be fitted I have also coming a new lock set as they are all different at present and handles too It drive great and pulls very well hardly any smoke Diff lock does work but diff light does not 5 x freestyle alloys 4 good condition/plenty of tread bfg at 265/75 spare is a new conti cross contact 3 front seats in Raleigh cloth Radio/cd player Mot till Jan 2018 Paint work has some lacquer peel on arch spats and roof Passenger door has a bit of damage/dents Original paint and decals Doors all seem good no holes in frame little surface rust coming in corners Dixonbate height adjust towbar and electric (not tested) Silver chequer plate wing/sill/quarter Fairly recent Safari Snorkel Swivels all good little oil from back of engine Chassis has had a couple of small patches welded and 1 small patch on rear cross member the rest seems pretty solid I have steam cleaned the whole underside and it will be treated with buzzweld this weekend and cross member will be done with buzzweld CiO too Trying to be fair with price bearing in mind what I will have spent on it in a coupe of weeks I'd like to get £7000 Ono for it Welcome to come and view just drop me a pm Located near Cambridge/Bedford  Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid) 2002 90 TD5 Hardtop (Sully) Sold 1998 300TDi D1 (Billy) Sold Last edited by pj2106 on 12th Feb 2017 5:24pm. So this is the landy now it's been steam cleaned prior to protection so you can see how good the chassis/x member is
Did find one small 10p size hole in drivers footwell but pass side is spot on All 3 seats steam cleaned and are very good condition Any other questions please ask 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid) 2002 90 TD5 Hardtop (Sully) Sold 1998 300TDi D1 (Billy) Sold |
