I think it still looks stunning today. You can see why it was such a hit for landrover to start with and throughout its 25 odd years of production. So good that it was outselling the P38 before they stopped production Laughing

I have one myself that is an ongoing project. I can't wait to get it back on the road Mr. Green although the I don't think I could afford to take it back to the factory Rolling with laughter 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Laugh is my dad had one just like that 20 years ago!! on an old V plate. He said it was the worst thing he ever did was get rid of it. With it been a 3 Door and a V8 manual. It would have been worth doing up. He pxed it for a disco 300 which he had to return, due budget cuts at work. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Got the opportunity to buy a 3 door manual in sand glow back in the 90s but with a mortgage & 15% interest rates I could afford the car but not afford to run it...

Oh well.

Sold this a couple of years ago.

Number 1800 off the line, one owner before us, original trim inside but a little tatty and un-restored.

It always came in handy:

That was a beauty slideywindows. I've thought of selling mine a couple of times, but the one previous owner was a good friend of mine, & I love driving it - even the aircon works sort of! It has also only done 42,000kms since new - tow truck mileage doesn't count! Cool 1955 Series 1 107" Pick up.

First time it's been on a tow truck. It sat unused in a hangar for near on 5 years & with a little fuel, a recored radiator & new hoses it fired up first time.
