I think it still looks stunning today. You can see why it was such a hit for landrover to start with and throughout its 25 odd years of production. So good that it was outselling the P38 before they stopped production

I have one myself that is an ongoing project. I can't wait to get it back on the road

although the I don't think I could afford to take it back to the factory

Laugh is my dad had one just like that 20 years ago!! on an old V plate. He said it was the worst thing he ever did was get rid of it. With it been a 3 Door and a V8 manual. It would have been worth doing up. He pxed it for a disco 300 which he had to return, due budget cuts at work. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 Heritage Edition SW Grasmere Green

Mine yesterday after a small brake issue - pedal to the floor! Does go well though & we all love it. I think I need to go to Japan & get my wife one of those 50th Anniversary Defender 90's! 1955 Series 1 107" Pick up.
1977 RRC Suffix 'D'.
2000 Defender 110 TD5 Xtreme.
2015 Defender Heritage 90.

Got the opportunity to buy a 3 door manual in sand glow back in the 90s but with a mortgage & 15% interest rates I could afford the car but not afford to run it...

Oh well.

Number 1800 off the line, one owner before us, original trim inside but a little tatty and un-restored.

That was a beauty slideywindows. I've thought of selling mine a couple of times, but the one previous owner was a good friend of mine, & I love driving it - even the aircon works sort of! It has also only done 42,000kms since new - tow truck mileage doesn't count!

Being a classic range rover I'd imagine it's done more tow truck miles than road miles

First time it's been on a tow truck. It sat unused in a hangar for near on 5 years & with a little fuel, a recored radiator & new hoses it fired up first time.
