Rear roof air vents

I have on the rear roof two air vents. Now I am having the defender sprayed shortly. Not sure what to do with them as they look scruffy.

Thought about covering them with two rear led strip lights or making a plate and riveting on, any ideas to help me out. Ta

1994 Defender 90 200 Tdi HT Montalcino Red

Bond an ali plate on the inside then bodyfill the outside to hide where the vents where before paint

Haven't got time or inclination to change it, think plate and filler will cover it, thought about two led strip lights but may
