| H.S.V. releases the W1,..a 474KW Supercar. | |
Hello from Aussie, where H.S.V. (Holden Special Vehicles) have just released their last "special", the "W1", with the previously unique to Corvette ZR1 engine, the supercharged 6.2L LS9 under the bonnet,...which provides a sensational 474KW & 815NM.
Price is $200K+, around 300 will be built, and I believe they are all presold.
The LS9 is a very special engine, I never thought I'd see it in a Commodore, but I was wrong.

A friend of mine is buying one, can't wait for a drive!
Commodore production ends in Aussie this year, and so not only will there be no more Commodores, there will not be a locally made V8, something we've had available for over 50 yrs.
