How do you remove the center console on the puma?
Hi there,

Does any know, or have the LR workshop guide to removing the centre console of the dashboard, the piece that holds the stereo, heating and control switches?

It looks like it drops out, but removal of the hex screws on the heating panel doesn't seem to result in anything!?

Many thanks

Unscrew the 2 torque screws on the front face and give it a gentle tug - it should all unclip; well mide did anyway! Laughing

Remove Stereo, using U shaped stereo removal tool (most car shops sell one) undo the two obvious Torx bolts, starting at the bottom insert the wifes best plastic spatular and lever out, repeat on the opposite side, move up abpout 2/3rds of the console and repeat. Undo all wires remembering where they came off for all of ten minutes. Replacement is easy apart from you will have forgot which plug goes where. Thumbs Up Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Remove the two screws and then pull from the top. It's clipped in at the top. It can be pulled out with the radio in place of you just want to look behind it.
