United Kingdom 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Cairns Blue
Anti roll bar upgrade. Question.
I'm about to have the Alive soft/lowering springs fitted this coming week.
When I purchased them I also purchased the 25mm anti roll bar. Now I have a nagging feeling that I should have bought new linkage's and brackets to make the change complete and to make the job a bit easier as they have probably not been touched since 2008 when the 110 was built.

I'm trying to convince myself that I should bite the bullet and order some then I think no it will be okay just leave them.

So come on guys what do you think, help me make up my mind. Also any helpful tips. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

just renew the bushings thats all
the linkage is not adjustable just a piece of metal, while yes I know, there are many fancy options for roll bar linkage for a Jeep Very Happy

I replaced the linkages on mine recently as two of the rubber boots had perished and left an angry crater of rust in place..

Lemforder 'OEM' was cheap enough (and actually is the OEM if I'm not mistaken).

Without the bar it is quite noticeable with the roof tent on top Shocked Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

Did mine a week or so ago and did mull over changing the linkages but the bushes were all good so didn't bother. Just new nylocks on the through bolts - which you should do regardless. ARB comes with new superpro for the 2 clamping points but my brackets were rotted and fell apart when I took them off - so I did change them.
