The Perentie is an absolute beast of a vehicle that was available in a variety of configurations. Very cool but also very big, as the ad suggests.
I seem to remember that Land Rover brought one over for evaluation in the '90's that was eventually sold on to a guy with some sort of engineering business. It was the 6x6 flat bed variant to which he fitted a hiab type crane to load and unload whatever it was he worked on.
