[Free] Lro magazines 1996 - 2015
I have a large collection of lro magazines, mostly complete years from 1996 to 2015 which now need to go.
So with kind permission from Martin I am offering them here if anyone would like any, the only cost will be to cover postage.

Hi TinyTim,
I'll take them all if that's possible and once I've read them I'll offer them back to the forum.
If you PM I'll organise getting them off you if that's ok.
Thanks in advance

Wow, never expected anybody to want them all Shocked
I was expecting specific issuses at best and tip the rest, but glad they are going to be rehomed.
Maybe the start of a defender 2 lending library/magazine exchange Laughing

That's a very pleasant surprise that they have found a good home(s) to go to. Very Happy

It wasn't so long ago that I was trying to give away of all my LR magazines (either in part or as a lot). This included every LRO from issue-2 (the Mark Phillips cover) and then all the other LR magazines that spawned from this, there were also 4x4 (which pre-dated LRO), a couple of other short-lived ones and of course club mags (AWDC etc).
Not a single bite and in the end they all went into the recycling (several loads as there were a LOT of magazines there).

Shame as I still found it interesting to flick back through them occasionally and see how far we have come in 30+years. It was great to look at the old adverts, swoon at the prices and cringe at what modifications & colour schemes were popular as the years went by.

Nowadays I still buy LRO & LRM but probably out of habit as much as anything else however I do have one rule, I hang onto them for 12-months and then I go through them again and discard. Saves building up such a library again. ONE LIFE, GET IT!

Looking back through the earlier ones has been quite interesting. I thought the modern ones had more adverts but they are about the same, although variety and prices were better and some names that are no longer about.
I now realise that there isn't much point holding on to them to refer back to , now that you can find most things on the Internet or are covered in the many books around.
