Do it. Corris Grey with black roof is the best combo, IMHO. But then I would say that:

Imo i think the grey looks better than the orange 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Just to confuse you a bit more but Montalcino Red is a very nice colour imo 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

who are you painting it for? if you're considering selling, then the standard colours (e.g. the grey with black roof) have wider appeal and so you're likely to get what you want more quickly.
If it's for you, and resale is not too much of an option at the moment, then do ti whatever colour you like best. Orange is fine. If the prep is done well and its painted well, then the finish is great. It's almost all in the prep..... |

My 110 SW is grey with black roof. Looks very smart.
However, if that deep red colour had been available, I'd have gone for that instead. Never understood why they stopped doing it. |

Corris is a lovely colour, but is quite common, so purely personal preference....
