Engine timing light

Hello guys and girls, my old man has asked for a new engine timing light for his birthday and I'm after some advice on what to go for, it does need to be able to both motorbikes and cars.

I'm not after a cheap one and don't mind paying a good amount for quality tooling, after all I will probably borrow it at times too.
